EVENT COVERAGE
Whatever your occasion is, events are always a labour of love, so why not capture your work with beautiful photos? My event coverage always includes a discovery call to get all the details on your event. With a past life in hospitality, I’ll mix and mingle with your guests to make sure everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera. From retreats to press trips to grand openings and everywhere in between; I’ll capture all the details of your event so that you and your guests can remember the day forever.

WEDDING PACKAGES
Confession time: I love love and I always have but I didn’t always want to capture weddings. For the longest time, I thought wedding photos had to look a certain way (cheesy, let’s be honest) and that wedding work would become too repetitive over time. 6 years of shooting weddings later, after a friend twisted my reluctant arm to capture their vows, there are few types of work I’d rather do. For my wedding couples, I’m not just a photographer but also an assistant wedding planner, hype girl, dress bustler, bartender, chauffeur and more. All types of love are welcome and celebrated in front of my camera - if you’re interested in booking, I can’t wait to hear from you!

ELOPEMENT PACKAGES
Not a traditionalist? Neither am I, so we’ll get along great! Whether you’re planning an epic outdoor adventure or a city hall affair, I’ll bring the same energy and experience to your day that I bring to a wedding. All the best parts of a wedding day are still present in elopements: getting ready before your ceremony, details of the day, that first kiss and of course, portraits! If you’re taking your elopement on the road, I’m also available to travel. For visitors eloping to Nova Scotia, I’m happy to pull double duty as your personal tour guide, helping you plan a scenic route full of hidden gems. So you wanna elope already? Let’s go!

DOCUMENTARY SESSIONS
We all know the best photos are the candid ones, right? Right! The only problem is that candid photos require a couple of key ingredients; timing and comfort, which is where my documentary approach comes in. Perfect for brands or families, I’ll come to you first thing in the morning and spend the whole day in your natural environment, capturing your life as it unfolds. Before your session, you’ll have a discovery call with me where we’ll talk styling your space and wardrobe. Documentary sessions include 75 edited full resolution images of your choosing.

PORTRAIT SESSIONS
Portraiture is at the heart of all my work but sometimes a few good portraits are the whole job and not just the heart of it. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, an anniversary or just celebrating your rad self, portrait sessions are never a bad call. My portrait sessions include a discovery call to learn more about you, a wardrobe, props and location suggestion list and a gallery of professionally edited and retouched full resolution images.

wHERE ARE YOU BASED?
I’m based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada but love to take my camera on the road. I’m available for booking Canada-wide!
How long have you been a photographer?
If I said all my life would you believe me? Let me explain! My photo career proper began in 2009 when I declared my photo major at NSCAD University and began trying to get any experience possible but I started photography as a hobby at the age of 9 with disposable cameras or whatever else I could get my hands on AND HAVEN’T STOPPED SINCE!
It’s my first time being photographed, what if I’m awkward?
Let me tell you a secret, are you ready? I’m awkward as heck (on & off camera) and it hasn’t gotten in the way of a good photo opp yet. Feeling awkward on camera is beyond common, which is why my sessions are all a minimum of two hours, giving you time to relax and warm up in front of the camera. My goal is always to capture your energy, so my sessions are more like a hangout sesh, just with a camera in the mix. I always have music on hand, bad jokes ready to go and a rough shot list based on your discovery call to help the session flow smoothly no matter what your experience level is.
How many images do you deliver?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer for this one. For portrait, branding and event clients, your images and image rights will depend on the package you choose. For my elopement and wedding clients, the number of images delivered DEPENDS on the length of your celebrations, THE number of guests involved and package chosen. Typically, my wedding galleries range from 500-800 edited images.
How long will it take to receive my photos?
For portrait and commercial clients, I turn around images within 2 weeks of client selection. For weddings and elopements, I work on a tHREE-month turnaround.
Do you deliver raw files?
Like most photographers, I do not deliver raw files to clients. As a photographer who believes that editing is as much a part of the creative process as photographing, I shoot to edit and don’t see raw files as finished products that I would be comfortable SHARING. For commercial clients working with more specific needs, I’m happy to deliver working tif files to ensure the best quality printing and flexibility required for any design needs.
How many weddings do you accept a year?
This changes year-to-year, depending on how many commercial contracts I have on my plate during wedding season. Because I love, love, love capturing love and want to keep it that way, I take on a limited number of elopements and weddings each season, which also means I’m able to give my best to my couples. Currently booking for summer 2024.
what can i do with my photos?
standard web licensing is provided to my commercial clients, however, additional print licensing fees may apply depending on the scope of the project and the type of printing required. print resolution files are provided to all of my wedding and personal portraiture clients. Sharing is always okay, in fact, I love to see it but I ask all my clients not to edit, crop or otherwise alter my images, unless previously agreed upon.
Do you require deposits?
I require a 50% deposit for any first-time branding, event or portraiture clients and a 25% deposit for wedding and elopement clients.
will you organize my shoot?
All my sessions include a discovery call, where we create a wardrobe, prop and location strategy for your shoot. If you want more hands-on help with styling, pulling props, booking venues, location scouting, talent calls or anything else under the sun, pre-production services are available at an additional fee!
